I've glued the weapons into position.
Apart from a little fine tuning the conning tower is more or less finished.

Just the boat's crest to add then it's all ready to stick on to the hull. Then I can get all close up and dirty with the whole thing!

Main deck support rails fitted and painted. Conning tower glued in place.

A close up of the Viking ship 'emblem' which was on the conning tower of the VIIC boat with this camouflage. So I've got that bit correct. If someone thinks differently that's fine. I like it and it's too late to alter it now. So best keep it to yourself. I'm just pootling along enjoying myself......:thumb2:

Next up I'll tackle the underwater bits. Yes I know I would have been easier to have done it first, but as it would be a waste of good plastic, I've finally made my mind up to do a full hull. I still intend to do a seascape though......

Great work, glad you decided to keep the hull complete and I'm with you on whether it's right or wrong I have never ever worried about the facts I build what looks good to me.
