This is Sea King HAR3 XZ596 as she was while at Lossiemouth around 2003/4. The only after market I used is an Air Graphics resin EAPS/SNIPS engine filter, which is far superior to the kit part, Eduard paint masks, Sqn crest and some seat belts from the spares box. Scratch made VOR-D “grab handle” aerials on the tail boom and fine thread for the VHF aerial.
This has appeared on other forums and the Airfix website monthly newsletter.

This looks great, very nice. I saw one land on Woolacombe beach one day some years ago. That livened things up a bit on a lazy summers afternoon.

Superb work Rick. Very nicely detailed.

Built 2 1/48 7 they are nice aircraft to build having so much detail on them.
Think a third is in the hover.
