Befor I hand this over to Ron I would just like to say Well done to Ron and thank you to all those that have put their name on the list.
Remember if there are others that want to join in the fun, no need to ask, just jump in.
I would just like to remind the newer members that it is better to start your build thread than it is to post in here with what you are planing to build. It does rather spoil the surprise.
Happy building.

I've got a couple of sets of recon figures so provided there's a reminder a bit nearer the start date I'm in.

I wanted to post this in the other thread for this GB. Is it closed 'cos I'm getting a message saying I have insufficient privileges to post there?

Thanks Ian, and well done chaps for going with my suggestion for a 2019 G.B. Unfortunately my other suggestions didn't reach the magic 10 before the end of the 2018 cut off point. So I'm chuffed this one managed to reach the start line... :thumb2:

Duration is Sept / November.
Please include your name, subject and reconnaissance in your thread title.
Any scale, any era.

I can foresee all sorts of questions as to just what is permitted, so from the outset if you think your intended build fits the criteria of 'Reconnaissance' and was originally designed and used for such a role and not modified for recon. use, then build it.

No building until Sept.1st.
Please post box art and sprue shots at the start of your build.
Dioramas or stand alone. If a dio. all models on it must comply with the rules. Not obligatory, but can I suggest some stand alone pictures first and then, if you wish, add your model to a diorama? That way we can see the finished model detail easier.

Post finished work in the suitable 'Completed' sub forum.

For the sake of clarity all general chat in this thread only please.

I'll post a reminder of the start later in the year - Providing someone reminds me to do it that is!...... :upside:

Ron

I do believe that I have something in the stash that fits the bill so I will be joining in.

Gee...that looks like my name and will get picked in the line up of suspects. :flushed::smiling6: I had a plane in mind but that will take too long. Will an SAS jeep fullfill the criteria or a Dingo?

Cheers,
Richard

I’ve got an Accurate Armour M114 in the stash that I’ve been meaning to build for years … I might just start it for this, if and when I ever get that MBT 70 finished :smiling3:

Ok I found a Bronco Humber, Bronco Piper Cub "Grasshopper", Italeri FW189 UHU, two Henschels HS126 by Italeri and Airfix in the stash as well. I may keep the UHU for the Animal Antics GB in October. Still all of them are tempting but I have to decide in a weeks time. The SAS Jeep and Dingo are also in the mix. :confounded::dizzy::smiling6:

Cheers,
Richard

I’ll throw a Trumpeter RA-5C Vigilante in the mix, just have to wait for the am parts to show up from the UK.
