Thanks for the likes chaps very much a motivating element for me and keeps me at it ;)
A bit of progress on the "Syrian shop" : Awning is fixed and weathered as is the shop sign using Shader and a bit of sponge chipping and a ligt misting with buff at the back rebar has been painted and further details added I have started on the interior it is not just going to be a pile of rubble. As the footprint of the building is not great the challenge is to show some details beside rubble. Pics show various versions of how I want the finished result to look - also, I really like my scratched damaged ceiling ventilator;)
Viewed through really clear reality goggles the fridge and gas canister would prob have been looted but a bit of creative liberty is allowed... Interior shots are WIP

I have kept rust to a minimum but it does rain quite a bit in Aleppo - especially during Winther so on untreated metal rust will start to show

Rebar is coming along - end result will be a tangled mess

Interior:
I am debating with myself how much rubble - focus should be IMHO be on not just the rubble but try to steer the eye of the beholder towards detail - on the pics below I am making changes to try to accomplish this
some of the principal items

I relly love that fan....

I have added a smashed shelf - this used to be a store...

A street scene does get more realistic when side walks are added more detail have been added to the front and rubble is in the process of being added
Still a lot more to do but I have added some pics of the end result with the two chaps who are taking a break from loading ammo 20220322_095016.jpg

Thanks gents much appreciated
Update: building is now fixed
And rubble is being added. right now I am concentrating on the front but have had time to do some work on the back as well
As.most modern Syrian buildings are constructed with a frame of rebarred concrete pillars and flooring but has cinderblocks in the wall sections I have included some whole plastic ones and some partially desroyed made from a plaster cast. technically speaking they are the wrong type but hey......
I am playing around with the placement of the ac unit and satellite dish as work with adding debris continue
Dish started as a being mounted on the building but as I was not happy with it I decided on having it tell a story of being blown of the mount - it is also a great way of filling empty space

Thanks alot for the kind words Gents :smiling:
The process of bringing wholesale destruction to the Rear of the Building is now almost complete and getting well underway at the front too- I am aiming for completing this part of the building process before the weekend , and start work on the reaming stages of construction on the T-72 during the Weekend.

Thanks for the replies mates.
detailing around the building 99% complete: ammo boxes, electrical wiring parts of the shop interior the ubiquitous corrugated sheet metal etc. Well, one can always add more details but for now focus will turn to the other dominant feature of this little scene: the T-72...

Hello Gents
thanks for the comments above

I am down with the Flu but before being bedridden I managed to do some work on the Turret adding wiring to both IR lights and mounting them - the co-axial has had its glas shot out - I have read that rebel snipers targeted these to limit the nighttime fighting of the tank so I thought it would be a nice feature - done with object glas used for microscopes.
Looots still to do right hand "rebar cage" is in the making and there still sigh a lot of PE brackets for the anti - Radiation coating as well a some Kontakt -1 blocks to do and the odd bits and bobs :smiling:
