Nice technique Paul, weathering is sublime :thumb2:

Jim,

Thanks for the kind comments. You can spend a fortune on after market additions but I like to keep things simple and make my own, not always accurate but anyone who knows me knows that already:tongue-out3:.

Steve~Paul. I would like to claim credit for the splinter cam, but it is a section of decal wrapped around some preformed duro and soaked in decal fix. when dry matted down. I don't even know if they used it in the desert, just thought it world add a bit of interest.

The Zeitbahn was general issue so it could find its' way there, but I don't know about Tropical uniform. Not my area. Great effect anyhow. PaulE

Thanks Paul,

I didn't realise it was a general issue item, I always imagined it was only issued to the elite troops.

Both the Germans and the Italians certainly did use camo sheets in the desert. A wonderful addition which make this build different to all the others:thumb2:

Hi Scottie.
Lots of lovely detail. As Steve says the camo sheet etc makes this a unique build.

Hi Scottie, that looks rather nice mate, these additions sure give the 222 character!

btw, not wanting to be a nag but it's a 'Zeltbahn' not a Zeitbahn ^^

Cheers
