Glad you like it Richard, Thanks !These are cute and compact to build Ron and you've managed to detail it too. Idea of being abandoned is good. Always lurking.
Cheers,
Richard
Ah, so THAT'S where you"ve been John ! Well as long as you think you've learned your lesson... I have a special treat in store just for you, after this build, so long as you can behave yourself. Here's a little hint....Looks good Ron .
Oh can I come of the naughty step now please .
Hiya Paul ! The hood will be opened to display the engine and to hopefully suggest engine problems, so there's that.... and I'm hoping to think of some loose item or two besides the spent MG rounds, to place either in the half track or littering the ground nearby... perhaps a map or satchel of a Staff Officer....Great work Ron. An evident reason to abandon would be cool. It doesn't have to be catastrophic. Just a thought w/first cuppa.
Aw, C'mon Andy !! Man, no Space Rock pal of mine is going to sit in the cheap seats !! That's for Commander Race when he's up to his hijinx and shenanigans !! Next time let me know and I'll make sure you have a back-stage pass Buddy !Been following along, quietly, from my cheap seat Ron .....
.... But I have to break radio silence after that last set of pics mate!!
... Absolutely lovely work on that interior, both engine compartment and cargo area
Can't get my head around covering some of it up.... Such a shame!!
Superb stuff buddy....
Andy,(Now settling back into my cheap seat )
Saaayyyyyyy !! Now THAT's a thought !! I like it !I'm with Paul on the reason for leav'n.......simple blood trail would do.......or whatever.
Hi John ! It's a ready-made solution-in-a-pot from MIG Ammo that I'd picked up 5 or more years ago but never got around to trying it. Since it's so old, I'd worried that it would be too 'syrupy' to clean off, but the stains on the valve cover and transmission cover wicked off easily with a brush dampened in mineral spirits. Seems to be working also near the fuel filler. Will re-apply more thoughtfully...Ron all looks good to me as well and a shame to cover some of it up for sure. What product did you use for the fuel stains?
Thank You Jim ! Once on a small dio base I think it'll blend well with its settingHi Ron
Looking great. I rather like the used and abused look. Many popular and effective weathering fashions look stunning even if not totally realistic.

Brill, front seat booked please Ron .Ah, so THAT'S where you"ve been John ! Well as long as you think you've learned your lesson... I have a special treat in store just for you, after this build, so long as you can behave yourself. Here's a little hint....
