Hi all

A little seasonal silliness; one Saturday I realised that there is one particular bust my collection is missing; so I settled down for F1 qualifying and started to sculpt the great man himself. I finished the sculpting watching the F1 on Sunday - stopping for the unbelievable final few laps!.

its a little 'rough and ready' in places, but ok as a seasonal bust Which I intend to only bring out at Christmas.

he is painted using Valleyo acrylics, with oils for the face.

Peter,

We clearly have very different definitions of 'rough and ready'.... For only a few hours work that really is very good indeed. Well done.

Hi Peter
I must agree with Andrew. You have really captured the look of the great man himself.

Hi all

Thanks for the kind comments. If I had sepent more time on him I think I woud have been able to make the texture of the beard and the fur more different than it is. Now its back to the opposite scale: 1/285 scale
