Shouldn’t take too long to stick that lot together, so to jazz it up a bit I got the Eduard PE set too :smiling4:

These paint stencils came with the PE set and I think they will come in very useful !

I won’t be starting this just yet as I’m still mucking about with a T34 plus I need to dig out the PDF files that MrT sent me for this....goodness knows what I did with them .....looking forward to this so hope to be with you shortly.

Oh and heres a chicken, leek and ham pie I’ve made for the rabble.....it’ll keep em quite momentarily :smiling5:

Very nice Mr. Benson,

You should have lots of fun with all the etch Si. Did you get a key to all the symbols for the stencil set??? I would go for the roller skate stencil myself. Looks cool!!! Have fun Buddy....

I don't know which is more interesting the kit or that pie Si.
As to the kit we will expect you to scratch the aerial from a length of 18 gauge fence wire sanded down to the correct size ! Mud guards from Pewter.

Evening Mr Race,
Firstly let’s talk pie.....now I know you and flour don’t get on so I feel a bit cruel to suggest this but believe me this is an excellent pie.
Here is the Recipe from hairy bikers show if any one is interested and get yourself an enamelled pie dish to cook it in!

Already working on that aerial, using the shaft off an old golf club and I’m sanding like crazy :smiling5:

Thank you Si, I can use Gluten free flour in that recipe so might well have a go here at Race Towers. I do have the odd piece of cake/ pastry with normal flour but too much and it tells.

As well as your appetite for pies, I hope you like a huge dollop of Photo etch. You've got a lot to play with here. It all looks very promising.

Great to have you looking in gents, hope I can make a reasonable job of this

With the T34 now ready for paint I can now move forward with the 223 build. Started snipping parts off the sprues and having a bit of a clean up....

Cut out the moulded on deck screen ready to accept the Eduard etch replacement...

Chassis pieces with plenty of good detail for such a vintage kit (1975!!)

Some slight flash along the length of the chassis rail that was scraped away with a Stanley knife blade, a technique I picked up off MrT...

Used the same technique to remove the moulded detail from the exterior stowage box...

Ready for the PE clasps and padlocks.

So a reasonable start for now. Hope to get a bit more done soon,
thanks for looking in :thumb2:
