Terrific results so far! I'm sorry Simon but I'm too heavily invested in 1/87 scale (500+) unbuilt kits and counting.:thumb2:

Rick - :smiling: I know what you mean, I have a similarly large stash of 76 & 72nd

Jim, Si, Scottie, John, Steve - thanks all. Trying hard to get my painting and finishing a bit better - it has always been a bit of a necessary evil as I prefer the building stage

A few more pictures

dust and muck in the rear bed and cab floor

made a start on highlighting the track assemblies - still very much WIP

:thinking:hmm, looked better at normal scale as usual - large blow up doesn't do it any favours

It's looking okay from here Mr T. I know blown up 1 72 scale photos don't always do the builds justice. However I do find its a good source of pointing out those glaring mistakes I make. I hope you have had a chance to move this one on a bit more.:thumb2:

Spot on Mr T. I would be very pleased with that look. Just be careful that purple and orange octopus doesn't gobble it up!

Hi Simon
It looks rather good to me. Methinks you are too dismissive of your painting abilities. Agree with Joe about the level of detail.

You've been out cruising Stalin's highways from the looks of it. Really nice effect I think the weathering is spot on. :thumb2::thumb2:
