Just outstanding details. PaulE
At Telford there were two traders. One with a table full of Friuls and another with a table of MC. The MC table was a mad scrum so didn't get a look in. The Friul trader was selling them all for £20 a box.
Good heavens. I'm so glad no one ever thought of putting tracks an aircraft. I commend your attention to detail, including the tracks !880 holes were drilled and 220 links were sanded,
Looks like a flipping big belt to me. Good effort though Jakko.
It may not be made up of individual links, but it’s definitely a tracked suspension (experimental on a B-36, to see if it would give it rough-field capability — it didn’t ).Looks like a flipping big belt to me. Good effort though Jakko.
That's madness!...it’s definitely a tracked suspension (experimental on a B-36, to see if it would give it rough-field capability — it didn’t ).
Moreso than the rest of the aeroplane it was attached to, you mean? That's madness!
Having built a B36 (1:72) I did wonder if that was a B36, then thought, no, that would just be silly. lol.It may not be made up of individual links, but it’s definitely a tracked suspension (experimental on a B-36, to see if it would give it rough-field capability — it didn’t ).
