Morning all,

this is another one that I have been chipping away at in the background for some time now

I have had a concerted effort to finish cleaning up the track links and they are now ready for assembly

buy2018-026_2018-4-27.jpg
the kit is one of their older ones so not up to their current standards. No etch and rubber band tracks

In no particular order here are a few pictures I have taken along the way

is3-001_2019-7-14.jpg
fuel tanks - new filler caps and weld seam from filler

is3-003_2019-7-14.jpg
rear smoke drums get etch end plates

is3-005_2019-7-14.jpg
barrel is aluminium tubing with a modified kit muzzle break on the end

is3-006_2019-7-14.jpg
fuel drum mounting holes filled with bits of sheet plastic

is3-008_2019-11-5.jpg
various bits of etch, new bolt heads, lifting eyes drilled open

is3-010_2019-11-5.jpg
welds added to engine deck louvres, grab handles replaced with brass wire and heavy duty welding added with filler

side skirts scratched from pewter with punched plastic bolt heads

is3-011_2019-11-5.jpg
is3-013_2019-11-5.jpg
red paste added for texture

casting numbers added from Slaters plastic lettering

tie down strap is from the Eduard etch set

is3-014_2019-11-5.jpg
Masterclub resin links all drilled and sanded

is3-015_2019-11-5.jpg
rear track guard from pewter

front end from pewter with etch hinge

Hi Simon
Well worth taking this down from the shelf. So much work done already. "Red paste"?? - go on what is that?

Steve - I’m rather looking forward to getting some paint and dust on this one

Jim - Vallejo textured acrylic paste, great for rough surfaces

Can't keep up with the amount of builds you have going Simon.
Love the rear resemblance to the T34 slope. Pewter out in force :thumb2:
