That will move the "Goods" Lee, I went digging through my mod. RR stuff the other day and found four cases of MDC 70 ton ore cars (unbuilt) forgot I had that many in the stash. I remember you talking about adding on to this layout...have you started the construction yet? Rick H.

You could have a field day weathering that lot Lee - if it was mine I just wouldn't be able to help myself :smiling5:

Rusty rails, streaked boxcars, worn buildings, tone down the model car finishes - buckets of grease stains and rain streaks

Ha, you'd cut half the cars in half, get some Pewter sheets and remake the doors. Great fun.

Nice bunch Lee. Lackawanna is a southern suburb of Buffalo NY, the former home of a Bethlehem Steel plant that stretched for a couple miles along Lake Erie. I remember in the fifties when going past it the air was a thick orangy-brown (thicker than any seen in LA) & all the structures & homes to the east were stained the same color. It employed thousands & operated 24/7 into the mid 60s. Paid well but was a deadly place to work. PaulE

Scottie. Thanks for the complement and stopping by

PaulE. Thanks for the complement and I never knew that Steel Mills did that. Lackawanna is one of my favorites. I’ll post more later.
