Sorry about the title....it's bloody awful I know.

I don't normally do a detailed in progress thread, but while anticipating a right good heavy snowstorm this week and reading the writing on the wall
it's time to settle down at the bench, keep the fires going and put the kettle on.100_0291 (2).JPG100_0292 (2).JPG100_0294 (2).JPG100_0295.JPG100_0296 (2).JPG100_0297 (2).JPG100_0298 (2).JPG

Will have a collapsed roof and rubble half burying PZ 4, and a couple of figures but no dead...I promise.

Will update soon.

I see you got 453 to pop out of the woodwork Jim. Just the mention of rubble sets him off these days.:smiling5: You might ask Matron to drop by and dose him once in a while. Love the mangled Mk. lV running gear, looking forward to the rest of the demolition.
Cheers, Rick H.

Thanks so much guys, the best made plans of mice and men are soon thrown asunder, just when I thought I could relax and ride out the winter storm
in peace and harmony, here comes the BOOM!
Brutal cold and WOOD! WOOD! WOOD!

Don't they realize I'm old and sick? and just want to relax a bit?
Oh well, such is life! Momma says I love it, but just love to complain ;)

Anyway.... got some work done on chassis, going little by little to see how things start working out.
Thanks for looking in, Jim :hugging-face:

Looking good I will tag along.
Thanks Paul, glad to have you on board, this kit was at the bottom of the pile, somebody gave it to me years ago.
Missing a few parts, like the vinyl bits to put road wheels on. Hence "the wreck", also missing gun mantlet part but will fabricate enough to pass muster.

Wrecked building will be a real project (for me anyway) collapsed roof will be a real challenge to replicate from pics viewed on line.
Beam, strut, lath and tile seem to be the roofing methods in Germany at the time.
Though please don't hold me to certain specs concerning construction techniques in pre war Europe! I might then have to bomb
it to oblivion and beyond all recognition :sad-face:

CHEERIO! Jim

Thanks guys, getting a bit more done as my busy schedule will allow.
Story coming together, as it seems Mamma is none too happy with Hans but he's like
"look lady...I ain't havin such a great day myself!"
Guy in the armored car is unamused.

Hi, folks, have been able to get some work done of late, very busy with just about everything but modelling.
Going to have to step up progress as their seems to be an infinite amount of detail and construction, or shall I
say destruction to make it seem authentic.

Am leaving out armored car to simplify matters but I seem to have way complicated things by deciding to make this a 360 degree diorama :rolling:
Have a Tamiya Dragon Wagon on the way via E Bay and I'll be torn as to what to do but I will carry this one to the end.
It will not be a rush job as my dios never are but I'm sure I will find myself working on both simultaneously.

Thanks for looking in, Jim.
