Thanks ever so much for all your great posts boys. It's nice to have support during the build and thanks for sticking with it. :thumb2:

Nearly there.
Here are, what could be, the last large bits of the airborne jigsaw.

The port elevator and the tip of the port horizontal stabilizer.

....a bit blowy and cold outside! So taken the opportunity to finally finished this.

I'll post the end result over in 'Dioramas Completed' asap.

Thanks for all the most excellent crack and top comments during the 'alterations' of the two aircraft.

Yours,

Adolf Galland

Thanks Andrew and Rick.
Sorry chaps, I lost an outbuilding roof last night, so me and the present Mrs. Ron have been salvaging stuff from the wreckage, so no pictures as yet.

I'll pop them on tonight once I've thawed out......

Greeting 570, sorry to read of the damage to the outbuilding roof .This weather is removing end ridge tiles at an alarming rate here in South Linc's.
Missed this build , don't ask why as have no idea !
Great photos, the current Mrs Ron has certainly improved her throwing skills.
Hope you and her have recovered once back in the warm .

Thanks boys.
Apart from a few bricks gone, the 4 metre square roof lifted off clean as a whistle and wrapped itself around a tree. It was roofed in those see-through corrugated plastic sheets. Total wreck! It needed re- doing anyway, so I reckon my late dad had a word with the big man to send some wind to finish it off.......

We went indoors and turned the heating on......Then had a 6 hour power cut!
We lit the wood burning stove. Pulled up the sofa and got cosy. Opened a bottle or two and sat by the fire..........Someone has to do it.:smiling4::smiling4:

Right, I'm finally off to post some pickies.
