Here's my finished figure(s) for this G.B.

Painted in Vallejo Model Air acrylics.
I wanted a dusty, tired and unkempt look to them both, so when the matt varnish was just touch dry, I dunked them both in filler powder and flicked off the residue.

The rest of the figures I will hopefully incorporate into a future diorama.

Thanks to Jim and Samson for suggesting and running this G.B.

Hi ron
A very nice result. Something different for you. An unusual subject - makes you think of the story behind it.

Thanks Jim.
With getting hardly any response and no posts, I was beginning to think "Is it really that bad?"

Not bad at all Ron, I suspect most of us were too gobsmacked to reply.
Great idea removing the shoe.

Excellent job mate , as pete says great idea to remove the shoe , gives a reason hes carrying the child in the first place and kick starts the imagination into creating a back story of whats happened up till this point. Great looking base too , did it Costa much? :tongue-out3: Cheers tony

Lovely work that man - geat painting.

bit like the scene in Private Ryan where Vin Diesel tries to rescue the little French girl.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated.

Especially Peter. Such comments from 'De Figure Man' is praise indeed..... :thumb2:

Tony - It's (or was) a clear plastic lid from a tub of yoghurt.

Cheers all.
