...and quickly Bob. Me and the missus are travelling all over the place with them for free on our bus pass! No wonder their trains are wearing out.

well, in real life i work for a train manufacturer.......if wales wants to send us an order im sure we would be happy to make them lol......keep me in work til i retire :thumb2:

Looking good, made me laugh when I saw your thread the reason, we got another dog during lock down and as he's a puppy with a little nose, so spray painting is a no no, he won't leave my side you see. So I looked at some wood kits and got one of these Rockets, two others are by ugears, just something to do for now they look fun and to me that's what it's about, are you going to paint it or leave it natural?, will hairy stick mine I think, saw some on Google and they looked cool.

Who do you work for? Used to be a train driver myself till I retired.

Hitachi...type 800/801 series IEPs and the class 385's for the scots.....plus some other stuff i cant mention

going to leave it as it is, did think about staining it to start with but like it as it is

heres a tale

project has been on hold all week............theres 'u' shaped bits that the axles go through......2 short ones for the front, 2 longer ones for the rear

snag is i had 3 short and 1 long in the box

so on wednesday afternoon i dropped an email to Timberkits asking if theres was any way i could get spares?

10 minutes later i got a reply asking for my address

i replied.......10 minutes later i got another reply .....already in a box, would be in that nights post!!

turned up in the letter box this morning

what i call good service!..................im used to sort we get off Airfix!
