Thnaks Colin

Seat belt today and join the 1/2's together for filling and sanding

Then just a few pieces to attach and I can get onto paint.

More soon?

A little update

Plastic turning to make a missing light thing?

gSEmIVu.jpg

Its done after a couple of attempts, watched Plasmo on you Tube do this, its so cool, an will no doubt be used to replace vehicle lenses in the future too

70ClA2o.jpg

The cockpit tidied up

Zf3i2Pg.jpg

Might try to paint on some buckles later

The joined up bits and it looks like a plane now

JUdkpUf.jpg

Brush painted over the fusualge seam to see if I missed awt!

Need to scribe some panel lines, sand and glue on the wingy things, then onto the paint job!

Early war Mk I black and white underneath and type I camo top

More soon?

Thanks Peter it does

and a little paint, don't look too closely at the over spray!

Just getting back into AB work at low pressure with a small needle and masking, so much to learn again!

A3FDHdO.jpg

The early Mk1 has the remaining underside in bare metal with a Scheme A/1 camo on top

I shall use a spray of matt clear to help seal the masking tape from bleed through, got that from Marty's Matchbox Makeovers on You Tube LOL

Thanks Ian

A little more, the paint job would not survive close inspection, the particle contamination is awful.

I have got some containers to cover my AB work in future as a garage is not a dust free environment

Looks reasonable at arms length though

The photo is for reference purposes only

Time for the ""spinach over gravy"" camo scheme on the top!

Its been a while

If you pop by Bob, guess what?

Quiet as a grave LOL

I guess broken hips and bluebells have been a distraction

I finally got back to it, and it was fun,

Guess what Bob, the splattering was helped by higher pressure, I took the AB to 2 bar and it was OK!

Sorry for the other duff advise, and here we go

wmeTFFS.jpg

I used silly putty instead of Panzer putty, 1/10th the cost and the paint disappears too when you take it off and roll it up!

VF0rdTk.jpg

The best I could do to match the camo

0ybMjO6.jpg

Not too shabby and the first plane I have build and got this far in ????????????????????????????

50 years, and once its finished I really want to do some more

I have NEARLY missed the dead line but it will get finished, soonish and the Stug needs doing by Monday too!

More soon?

Yep, there will be

Regards

A little bit more with really poor decals

Bluebells done, patient getting more mobile and independent.

A bright dry warm weekend ahead, and the Spitfire and the Stug to play with

Sounds like Nirvana to me

More soon?

Thanks Peter & Bob, Colin Ian

Forgot this one was in IT limbo!!!!!

I really fancy doing the prototype, and have most of the bits, it will be in 1/32 as 1/72 is too much of a struggle eyes wise.

I like the idea of a Rolls Royce showroom finish with all rivets filled and a deep gloss shine

Sounds like a plan

More soon?

Hopefully
