Hi Steve
I have to say your weathering is exceptional. Seems to have a 'depth' to it.

Evening comrade Jones,
Again I’ve missed lots of updates and some lovely painting! She is looking very nice indeed, like Jim says, the multiple layers are really working to create the depth:thumb2:

Certainly doesn’t look like a 1/72 tank...top job mate :smiling4:

Hi Everyone

Thanks for that Jim. I have certainly got my head around this layering process now. I am now trying different substances and techniques to see what looks best at which scale. Unfortunately you cant see on the photos but close up, under the optivisor, the layering is quite detailed.
I take it that's the big fat white envelope on top of the big brown envelope Paul?:smiling5:
I was surprised that the 172 took the same 1 35 techniques Si. However I couldn't go mad. Less is definitely more at this scale.

Wow Steve, what can I add to the comments so far.
Exceptional comes to mind, one thing really worth pointing out is the exhaust debris, looks so real .

I was pleased how that came out as well JR. It took three layers of paintwork and then the pigments
Thank you Simon.
