Hello guys,
here are a couple of models I have just done for a customer, he wanted them in the rough so to speak so he could add the finishing touches such as little figures and the glass areas and also the paint thank goodness as you all know I am useless at painting. Let me know what you think,
regards Barrie ( the old guy )

The only thing happening in the next half hour is me having a cup of tea, YES it was a long time ago but the good things stay fresh and never age unlike myself. NO Chris I will not be putting in the windows my friend wants to do that himself and do the painting thank goodness, it much better for me that way so I can just get on with building. I did enjoy doing the fish it was so different to what people want.
Thank you all very much for your kind comments.
regards Barrie ( the old and soon to be refreshed guy )

Oh, takes me back. I had a rubber-band powered Stingray that I played with in the bath as a kid. We all hated the end sequence though ''Marina, Aqua Marina.....'' Dead soppy.

Lovely work Baz.

Great scratch building Barrie.

Very nice indeed....

Stingray? It's when one remembers 'Supercar', Tex Tucker and Four Feather Falls that one starts to realise just how old one is...Doesn't one?!!!

AGE is but a number, but the those childhood shows made a big impact on so many people, I wonder if any of the modern shows will have the same effect in 50 years time I doubt it very much. NO Chris I have not forgotten my friend is going to add the final touches along with the paint job, he just wanted me to build the model so he could add his own touches.
thank all for the great comments and I am glad to be able to rip open a memory

regards Barrie ( the old guy who was watching at the start of it all ).
