Still no sign og the canoes yet?
The canoes are coming! I'm not going to attach them until near the end as they make the model very awkward to handle...and even bigger.

The canoes are now attached to the Spitfire. In fact the aeroplane is about 99% finished. Here's how it looks on what will eventually become its 'concrete' base.

I've still got quite a few bits and pieces to either make or finish in order to put the finished vignette together, so the over all project is far from complete. When I eventually get there (and it needs to be in the next couple of weeks or it won't be until September) I'll post some proper pictures along with a background story.

Here's one work in progress. This cheerful chap was generously donated to the cause by our own Ian M and is being transformed into Flt.Lt. 'Willie' Lindsay, who commanded the flight of Spitfire float planes.

Like Barry said that is looking A1 Steve. Flight Lieutenant Lindsay is also looking good, he will add to what is already a great build.
