Morning all.

I remember when browsing a few years ago that there was a submarine model which had a cutout/diorama side thingy (which showed the mess hall or bridge or something). For the life of me I can't remember the name of the sub, nor even the make (maybe Revell of course). Is anyone aware of it please?

Thanks guys.

I think I've found it actually, it's the 05060 U-47 Gunther Prien one. Only seems to be in stock in the US on ebay, for $9000 plus $250000 P&P.

If anyone knows of one, let me know - I have an urge to turn one of the little geezers into Jurgen Prochnow.

Sorry to turn down your XXI Paul - that one doesn't grab me as much as the other for some reason!

Loving the Revell rv05163 with the photoetched, wood and metal parts as well, but I'm not forking out £100 for it!

I really want to do a sub model next, if anyone has any suggestions (for something which won't be too drab) up to £50, thrill me!
