You may remember that I made a version of this Tamiya kit a couple of months ago. I wasn't that happy with the result, so I decided to have another go. As I'd already blogged the build, I thought there was no point repeating myself, so here is the finished article:

As before, I swapped the awful Tamiya head for a Dragon one, and here have added the headphones and throat mic that I put together for my failed wedgie project.

As usual Peter a fine piece of painting, you have what many of would like the skill to paint like this.

Peter,
Not sure how you do it but your figures just keep getting better.

Thanks for your kind words chaps. I've built this figure so many times, but never managed to make the basic tanker as per the box. I feel that I can cross this one off for a while now.

Just go this figure to go with my upcoming GB Tiger - doubt mine will turn out anything like this though

I'm sure you'll do a great job as usual Simon. Just remember to swap the awful kit head!

Morning Peter
Another superb figure, well done.
It's going to be an awful weekend for weather, being at work isn't so bad when its like this.
Desert Rat next?
Hopefully no more duff gas fires and chimney liners in my future!
Have a good day with your next figure
Regards
Steve H

Morning Steve

Glad you like this one. Not sure what to do next - see how I feel after a weekend away in Lewes visiting my granddaughter - awful weather predicted there for tomorrow.

Have a good day at work.
