Hi Folks

Below are my LRDG Chevi & SAS Jeep (the Jeep was only possible thanks to Laurie Stewart, thank you Laurie :thumb2:).

Just after I had taken the pics I realised I had not fitted the cocking handle to the Browning M2 or the sun dial.........doooogh

I have started a diorama base for the two and will post it as soon as its complete

Hope you like

Take care and safe

Si

Si copied the tyre from his own car Mark. Nothing like being authentic.

Nice set Si. must find out about that hairspray technique.

Laurie

Thanks Laurie:thumb2:

:tears-of-joy: My tires have loads of tread, but unfortunately I will still have to get the two rear ones replaced for the next MOT as the rubber is deteriorating:tired: I have until November so not too bad

Hairspray is really easy and effective (Ive tried various chipping fluids but none as good as this, and it smells nice). I put the base coat on, in this case dark grey, when dry apply hairspray, again when dry apply your top coat in this case buff and within half to one hour using a damp cotton bud or cocktail stick and rub and scratch away. The dark grey soon appear, through the top coat and hair spray (hairspray making it easier).
