Hi Carl. Are you sure that etched part isn’t the missing cushion? The Tamiya part would then go in underneath....

Hi Carl
Can't help with your folding seat - sorry. Great start on the cockpit :thumb2:

I’ve completed the cockpit, and now stuck the two fuselage halves together so no going back now. So far fit seems quite good. There are a few minor raises edges where the two parts join, probably could of lined up better had I noticed at the glueing stage. Sure a bit of sand paper or small amount of filler can sort any minor variations. 3C25D80D-0947-4824-AB90-D136EE90A7AD.jpeg68D32B8C-EA2A-484E-A874-F0343CBC77B4.jpeg

Hi Carl
Cockpit looks really nice. Getting the fuselage halves together is always nice to get done. It can be problematic on small planes at 1/72 so this biggie at 1/48 :rolling: - well done indeed.

What's the wingspan. The 1/72 ones I have on the stash are just over 40 cm.

A 1/72 Lanc doesn't fit into my display cabinet. In 1/48 I would have to build an extension to accommodate it. One big mother of a kit ...
