Thanks Rick, men living in the field will always keep certain of their things as clean and dry as possible
especially sleeping rolls and dry clothes and the like.

The dio I envision for her will be set some time after the French campaign and just before Germany's surrender.
She will be loading up a shattered Pz VII in an attempt to clear a portion of the Falaise gap.

Thanks Jim, I was going to chain up all the wheels at first, but then thought it a bit too much.

You could recoup your investment a few times over - $800 on ebay for a built one !! Mind for that money i wouldnt want a Jaundiced Soldier , sitting on the truck  :rolling: :smiling5: :smiling5:
Really!....gee, I wonder wheat I could get for all my dios?!
Figures for in future dio will be a challenge, no real decent figure kits for the type of scene I want to depict
that I could see online, so it's off to the spares boxes....we'll see how that works out.

Really nice work mate I love the detail you have done with the clutter. My dragon has been on pause for a while, as I have been away with work alot.I'm just making the winch ropes at the moment with some picture wire.

Bit more done as time permits, plus some pics of her girl friend, "Betty"
Pics are a bit lousy I know, but time is one thing I don't have a lot of lately.

Thank you Rick, thought they would make a nice couple.
One day they will go into a massive dio together, maybe my last crowning achievement.

Jim,
Good to see this back on the go. Really looking sweet.
Thanks Paul, I...well, we, have been off the hook busy, folks are scampering as fast as their legs can carry them from the cities.
This is a popular area for coppers to retire to, and many I know personally have properties about for week ending and vacations and such.
Something is going on....gee...I wonder what it could be?

They are getting out early and the demand for new homes is skyrocketing!
We dabble in land clearing and site prep and have to defer a lot of work to others, we just can't handle it all by a long shot.
We want to stay small and simple but it is hard to resist the temptations to go "big", but many a high debt bubble has burst in many an optimistic face.

Had a heart to heart with the boys and they kind of reluctantly agreed. We are happy, pretty much self sufficient and
every thing is paid for, so why be greedy?

Mamma is beside herself lately as she worries about me so, I told her please let me decide when I,v had enough.
Almost afraid to stagnate, besides when one loves his work he is a very lucky man indeed.
My granddaughter just got her license so I keep her with me as sort of a side kick which Mamma appreciates
besides she is getting quite good with a dozer!

Thanks for your kind attention,
Jim
