Hi
I have just purchased the tamiya hanomag 35020. Should i use tamiya ts german grey or xf german grey?
The paint information is sparse on the instructions. The reason i ask is would the ts german grey be to shiny?
Hi Paul and welcome to the forum.
It would probably be shiny if you just left it after finishing the build, but I would put Matt varnish on when completed.
Thankyou everybody for taking the time to reply, thankyou for the answers,col68,yes i was aware of the differences,as i do a lot of tamiya motorbike kits, but i thought the ts german grey would be shiney,i dont have an airbrush and would prefer to spray the hanomog rather than brush it.Thankyou papa695 and Alan 45 and col68,its appreciated
I am after more advice please.I have all the tools etc from my exploits with 1/12 tamiya motorbikes and figures, but what is the best paint brushes for painting 1/35 kits and figures, mainly for the figures, any advice would be great
After trying several different brushes I now prefer Abteilung 502. AK interactive arnt bad either. I also have some Pro Art which ive found to be good. Windsor and Newton are considered top notch and are very expensive but to be honest for acrylic paint I prefer my Abteilung 502.
John stocks them here at Scale Model Shop.
Hope this helps.
