I've got my 13 year old granddaughter staying over with us for a while, and every time she stays with us she keeps asking me to build a model with her :smiling3:

So this time I gave in and pointed her in the direction of the room of doom, and asked her to pick a model that she wanted to build, so the choice of kit, is this one, it's the Tamiya Tilly.

She was really keen to start, and started to tell me what tools we needed, she was also reading the instructions, and then started telling me that we needed to get so much done, so that we can start another one afterwards :o

Anyway this is where the joint build is at, I hope you like it so far ;)

Good for you Tommy And it looks like your grand daughter is a natural. I hope that she enjoys it enough to start up her own little hobby room.

Thanks guy's, glad you like it :smiling3:

Hi Ian, I think she has plans for that also, I've been informed that if we made the spare bedroom into a "model making room" we'd have more space, and I've also been told that this room should have a tv and a computer as well as a stereo.

I told her that they call these rooms are called a "man cave" to which I was then told, that this room would be called an "Amelia cave" for her to build and paint and display her models :D
