Ok here is the one I have been waiting for I have two Tamiya SAS jeeps. Two African buildings an Tamiya LRDG truck And I may possibly add a Kubelwagen to the mix but am unsure of that at this point in time.

I think this dio is going to be quite weighty when done so may do it in to parts if that is allowed.

Aaron the buildings are made of plaster although I have used plaster for bases I have never used buildings made of the stuff. There are a few mods I want to make to them but will research first as there is no access to the roof areas. I want to try and cut two holes so as to have an obs post on one.

oh Terry,be careful with that one with plaster,I have never used the other type of plaster that is meant to be much harder,

and less likely to break, ;)

I would tape both sides were i intend to put the hole, and go in from each side very slowly,

and that type of hunt would have a hack on the roof, were a ladder comes up from inside,

I am going to do this in reverse of what I normally do and tackle the figures first. There are fifteen of them all together so they should keep me busy for a while. The jeeps and truck won't take to long to knock up then t will be on to the buildings. I am now thinking of making wooden floors for the roof sections thus dispensing with having to cut through the plaster parts provided.View attachment 102239

If you mean the chaps at either end, they do look a bit puce Terry! Maybe they've got Delhi Belly & are struggling to keep their bottoms shut? :P

I nearly forgot to do an update on this build so here it is. I have started on the first building by putting three walls together and adding a frame work for the floors. Once this was done I added some stirrers as floor boards. I did have a bit of a set back as predicted by Moni when I removed the door. The front of the house basically ended up in four bits. Not to worry as I can make it look like it has been hit by a round.View attachment 103458
