Hi all, attached below are a few shots of my latest efforts. Details of the kit and some history can be found in the 'Under Construction' section of the forum, this is an OOB build. An excellently moulded kit, the only fault I would have is that the instructions are lacking in places, so for this reason only, would suggest you have a few kits under your belt before attempting this one. Hope you enjoy viewing. Cheers Derek

That's a real beauty Derek!

I think it was our friend Theuns who was looking for a decent F 104 kit. Sounds like this could very well fit the bill.

Gents. many thanks for your kind comments. I cannot praise this Hasagawa Kit highly enough, it knocks spots off of the 1/32 Trumpeter's I have made. Moulding is beautifully detailed, virtually no flash, seam lines and the ejection pin marks are mainly hidden. Fit is excellent, only very slight minus is the instructions leave you guessing some times, but all in all a gem of a kit. Cheers Derek

What a great Starfighter. Excellent paint job, panel lines highlighted perfectly - I would be over the moon if my next one turned out like this.

Hi Colin, many thanks, I got this for my X-mas last year and have been dying to do it, but wanted to build up my experience first. It was a gem of a kit to make. Cheers Derek

Brilliant work, takes me back to my days at Cottesmore VASS.

Always wondered how they stayed in the sky with those tiny wings, later found out that they often didn't :shocking:

Thanks Andy, yes they didn't nick name them 'The Widow maker' or in America the 'Lawn dart' for nothing. Quite fancy doing a shiny silver one some time. Cheers Derek
