Hi Guys

Tim - I have a set of British kings and queens from 1066 to date, but it will be a while before I start those.

Rick - here is a phot with the fram removed and from and angle which shows the structure of the diorama which creates the £D effect from the flat figures.

in effdct it is a combination of 2D flat figures set in a 3D room.

Superb! Flats were the 'thing' several years ago before falling out of favour - you could be the vanguard of a renaissance in this genre mate!

Hi Peter
I'm glad the recovery is going well. That case really suits the beer cellar.

Rick - cheers!
Steve - i do have some more (kings and queens of England) but it will be a while before I do them - they are much harder than they look.
Jim - recover it going fine. the thumb is healed, now it is lots of exercises to increase flexibility. Saw the optician and on Friday ordered my new glasses following the cataract procedures, so fingers' crossed I may have them by next weekend and back to sculpting!

I can well believe that Peter, painting 'in the round' is problematic enough! Are your creations pure flats or 'demi-ronde'?
