ta,Rick, getting some done slowly real in no rush with it,won,t it to turn out well,:smiling:

Great start Monica

You are going to have so much fun picking out all the detail on the debris on the base.

The figures do look good, will you keep the original heads or swap them out for Hornet?

Have you chased down a flag yet to add to the scenario?

There are a few You Tube videos of different flag making processes.

look forward to this one getting better an better

Regards

Steve H

Hi,Steve,it will be a fun job, with the debris, working out to do with it,
I will keep the heads what come with ,them, there not so bad,see how the detail, shows with,

Hi Monica, sorry am late joining the crowd. Have always wondered if anyone would do that iconic scene of the flag raising on the Reischstag. You're doing a good job of it. :thumb2:

Was confused why Scotland was having a heatwave until I noticed you're now reciding down under in Aussieland. Will be sharing the heat soon when I'm with my Sis for 3 weeks in Sydney...she says she is already melting.

Good of Simon to forward the flag image for you. Will you be painting it or making a print? The base already looks good with the painting of the debris. Glad you're enjoying this.

Cheers,
Richard

Morning Monica
2 C here in the North of the UK, 43 C seem rather warm!

Good start on the base and rubble

Are the heads fixed to the bodies yet?

The figure on the right seems to have a long neck?

Is it the camera angle or still time to adjust?

Looking forward to the base developing, though I guess it will have to be early and late to paint as it will dry too quickly?

Regards

Steve H

no,just tacked on for base coats, and fit,yes your right its a bit to long, soon to be piked for painting,
will adjust it to suit,
I tend to get more done,in the morning in 2 to 3 hrs, than the rest of the day, without can you do this or that,
drop off, pickup,I need to go hear and there, never ending, and then the cats ,take over as well, never have the
hart to move them,
in that heat the paint drys on the brush,or on the plate before you get to use it,better today 19c,very big drop from
43 or 46 it got too,

Monica.
Love the colour of the structure, don't think you could improve. Those greys are spot on, exposed to the elements stone soon loses the original colour.
Going to look great .
John.
