Thanks Andy and Rob. I've not used this dense foam before but it certainly works well for buildings. It's also light and cheap :tongue-out3:
I'm away on holiday for the next week so even slower progress.

Looking good, Jim.

Why not sneak the build in your suitcase - just in case it's raining on your hols.?

Stay safe and enjoy your vacation wherever you end up.

Thanks Ron
It was seeing what John and you did with that modelling foam (pizza boxes :tongue-out3:) that persuaded me to have a go. I have acouple of books I want to read so they'll go in the suitcase :thumb2:

Apologies Jim , I missed a lot of this .
Great work overall, I esp like the work on the doors both in casting and then the paint work .
Steaming the door frame WOW, that in its self is worthy of the dogs . I've done laminated bending in 1/1 but never steaming .
Most impressive , you must be very pleased.

Thanks John
One of the nicest things about being part of the forum family is how you're encouraged to try something new. Your foamboard buildings were the push I needed to have a go.
Thanks for your kind post.

Fun going into uncharted territory isn’t it Jim. After all, doing things outside of your comfort zone is the only real way to improve your skill set…..otherwise you are just practicing what you already know…

I'm playing ketchup too Jim. What a wonderful setting you've created from scratch. For a first time, this is just fantastic. The woodwork, the colors, everything, right down to the kitty, is great. It's a full dio all by itself!!!....

Enjoy your vacation and I can't wait to see what comes next when get back.

Hi all
Completed at last. Thanks for all your support. Foam buildings were a first and a steep learning curve but I've learned a lot and will definitely be doing more of the same.

Thanks once again.
