The real question is: is anyone willing to pay that asking price? I mean, if you go on Amazon or eBay you’ll often find ridiculous prices for simple items that nobody sane would pay — though these might just be whitewashing attempts. In this case, yes, someone seems to have asked a price that reflects the work that’s gone into the model, but if nobody is going to pay it, that’s not what the model is worth.

I agree with Jakko, if nobody buys it then its overpriced, no matter the work that went into it but if he can move it at that price, good luck to him, it would be interesting to come back in a month to see if it has sold.
