Having finished my ECW bust its time to move onto the next one.

A return to WW1 with Grand Admiral Tirpitz, circa 1915:

Quite a striking figure with that beard.

The bust is my latest release under my Sarnia Miniatues.

Peter had decided to take a break from commissions so here is a photo of the unpainted bust I will be using on the box art:

Hi Guys

Thanks for the support. i must admit the beard was one of the things whihc attracted me to this bust.

It rained here this morning so got some bench time - here is the face so far, a bit more work around the eyes and a start on the beard:

No Bob, beards are great fro soaking up the soap - you can keep it for later. Great work peter - lovely flesh tones.

Good replies both, never had one but keeping for later sounds a good plan. Chicken drumstick should fit.

Hi guys

A lot of progress since Tuesday, I had intended on taking more photos, somehow I didn't manage to.

Well here is the virtually finished bust. All I plan to do is put it aside for a few days so that when I next look at it I may see it with fresh eyes so t ospeak. That way the areas which will inevitably need to be improved will jump out at me.

Thanks Steve. Often a difficult decision is to know when to stop, I have been guilty of over working some models in the past.
