Those palm trees are rather effective. Once the trunks are painted they will look very much the part.

well got a bit of time in today before the nagging, :confused: :mad: .......................:rolleyes:

have most of the guys done,just need to add bits,and bob,s so meany fiddly bits to paint,

I,m quite happy with the US,guys never done camo before, ;)

and the Japanese are looking ok as well,just need to add all bits,bobs,

and finish of my dead US,guy alot more reshaping to be done, :eek:

so hope that your liking it,will be fitting them out today,and just the faces to finish off,:confused::rolleyes:

Monica I love the idea of using Chenille feathers to make palm leaves very nice, and everything is coming together nicely, like the camo on the marine uniforms too.

I think you've done a fabulous job on that American camouflage. Did you mottle using a small brush or sponge?

ta Joe,just by brush,over a coat of lifecolor R,L,M,02 or UA,504,and pickup the shadow,and high lite,then did the mottle over the top,

Inspired idea for the palm fronds, I love seeing folks using such diverse initiative! I must have a go at one of these before too long...
