Nice start John! It does a very few time I did a similar kit, and I can say it's very fun!!!

Took the loco to work last night & did a bit of weathering, still got a bit more to do tonight but it's a start.

As for the wheels i give up, to many links to pin to get them to work.

Of all the models in all the gin joints this is my first train ever.

Well you should not be worrying about the running gear, It looks great.

The detail in the kit looks rather good.

Thanks Ian, i just wish there was detale under the plating so i could leave the upper hatches open but i know nothing about trains, maybe next time.

nah I'm no expert either, however would the normal Loco be hiding behind all that armour plate? Maybe by looking at the version without armour, you could scratch some thing up.

looks quality john the wheels are bang on buddy there are going to be a lot of pin washing to do on the main body keep the pic coming

Beginning to look the biz now John, it'll be great once the top coat and weathering is on.

And is that little dio base behind it something to do with your train, it'll be a tight fit if it is LOL.

Hi john I've not long completed this kit, it builds nice very little filling needed at all. look forward to seeing this one completed.
