Hi all,
Just to let you know that I haven’t completely given up on this although I have suffered a couple of minor calamities!

The main problem was the periscope is supported by the arms and it won’t stand straight unless the arms are completely aligned correctly... I should have worked this out earlier but I didn’t and in trying to correct it by forcing the issue I managed to snap one arm off completely.... not at the joint either.... the amount of handling I did trying to put it right took of great areas of paint work so I was beginning to consider scrapping it!

I’m now at the point where with a bit of repair work I might just save it and so that’s hopefully going to take place over the next few days and then this one is done!
Thanks
Jason

Oooh, what a pain! It looks salvageable though. Good luck Jason.

Hi all
Just about calling this finished now...I managed to repair the broken arm and found a bit of spare time to just finish off the final bits so with 2020 not even 2days old I’m calling my first build of the year finished!!!

The light isn’t too good at the moment so I will probably take some daylight pics and post them tomorrow!
Thanks for taking the time to take a look!

Hi, Steve / John
Many thanks
Not sure about many more to come at the pace I work at! I think the key is to nearly finish a few in December then take the credit for completing them in January!
Thanks again
Jason
