Hi All

This my now finished Dio, that i have been working on for as long as i can remember, well i think it is time i called it finished.

I have renamed the Dio to "Under new management" The Dio is based on the Mini Art French farmyard that i decided i wanted to use as a French garage in use in Vichy France, the occupying Germans have decided that the Garage will be of use to them, as well as helping themselves to the previous owners fuel supply..... the other models and figures are a mixture of Tamiya vehicles, these being the Kublewagen and Steyr 1500A and an Italeri zis-5 made to look like a French civilian delivery truck, the figures and accessories used in and out of the garage are from Verlinden figures and workshop equipment, ICM figures, Tamiya vehicles, and Live resin figures, Italeri workshop tools, Plus models figures and Tamiya chickens and birds, as well as scenic items from Fog models!

I built some scratch built items including the lean-to at the side of the garage using balsa wood, I also scratch built the wooden cart using the Tamiya field kitchen chassis and wheels as the base, I also scratch built the briquette yard using 1:35th bricks and plastic styrene sheet as the base.

Well thats about it really other than posting some pics, i really hope you like it.

Nice one Tom. Loads going on and things to see. A couple of the shots are a bit fuzzy, but those that are clear really show things off.

Great work Tom

That's great Tom. It's nicely done and I love the bustle of it,even the fella doing a bit of map reading looks busy.

Cheers
