Yip Yip Yip and Yahoo!!! That is Awesome!!!! How many years did this take to produce? I remember the Dio. base from a previous, not to be mentioned Forum and some of the different vehicle builds back then.....particularly the shovel and crane projects.....very impressive. It would be laffable to attempt something like this in 1-35 scale. Well done and a Tip 'O the old Stetson to you Paul!!:thumb2::thumb2:

That's genuinely amazing. I honestly think that's more models than I've ever owned.

It looks brilliant.

Great to see one of these epics back on the go. Haven’t seen you build whole units for a while Paul. Is 2022 a US year then?

To tell the truth 2022 was supposed to be a Modern German (BW) year, but "Those Damned Engineers" kept getting into my thoughts and once I laid them out I just had to work them. I've added some additional vehicles & bridging equipment due to new TO&E info. acquired and am adding details to them as well as to the bridging equipment. The plan is to complete the detailing of the two combat engineer companies representing C Co.7E, A Co 204E & work elements of the 1103 Treadway Bridging Company. Bridging Companies were huge, including three platoons of twelve each 6x6x6 bridge erection trucks for M2 Treadway. My group will just include one platoon of these plus misc. elements for Baily & Infantry Foot bridges in support of Moselle River crossings by 5ID.

Some works in progress. Left to right, prime mover/tender for course crusher plant, amphibious section transports, two 6x6x6 bridge erectors.

Materials & transporters sorted for Treadway, Baily & metal truss/pile/wood bridges. May have to steal a Red Ball trailer for transporting the footbridge.
