Useful decal tip?

I have recently started to copy or scan the untouched sheet of decals before use. Many of the clumsy amongst us,like my good self, have in the past managed to lose, destroy, or damage decals. By having the 'copy' it has enabled me to retrieve the situation by either using the printed copy to make masks and spray on the replacement or to copy the sheet onto decal paper.

There is the possibility of colour change using this second option dependant upon the quality of the printer/copier but this may be overcome by careful weathering!

For the sake of a couple of minutes and 2 or 3 sheets of copy paper it's good to know I do have some back up.

I bought myself a colour laser printer the end of last year for just this reason :smiling3: Not needed to use any backups yet but least I have a mounting number of scans :smiling3:
