That's superb Steve. The leather work is really well done. Beautifully presented.
One small point - the base looks to be lifted from the wooden plinth at the back left corner.

Yep it does look like that, not sure what i can do about it.

Really love this - makes me want to have a go with oils.
The lifted base is a real shame. Have you considered extending the groundwork over the darker portion (using miliput or similar), so it blends seamlessly right to the wooden plinth?
