Here is my completed Viking. I've called his Harald after Harald Klak, who was the first Viking convert to Christianity. He has just slaughtered some priests to grad their gold and ripped the jewelled covers off a couple of Bibles/Gospels. I added a small amount of blood to his axe and one of the books to show the struggle to get them. Poppies add some colour but also represent sacrifice. Harald stands in a crucifix position which is echoed by the Celtic cross behind him. (The cross was a cheap casting that I found on Ebay but it needed cleaning before I sprayed and hand-painted it. This figure was made by Seil Models.

That’s great. Really good attention to detail and exemplary painting skills have turned out a cracking result.
