Ok I haven’t touch this since Dec.16 it’s been looking at me every time I put something new in the bench like “finish me” so I’m taking just a pause on my current builds to finish this little guy up. Tonight I filed the panel for the exhaust and painted the engine and manifolds.I also painted the wheels. Next up will be the prop.4627CFB8-8CC6-459C-8D69-DEB76BC5FF2B.jpeg76EB44DD-3EEE-4AF6-88D6-EFC6D863EB8A.jpeg37ED0287-1514-4D96-81B2-8B4A830311BC.jpeg467ACEAB-C285-4969-9C84-7F77D3F4E6FA.jpeg49C6127F-D371-48D1-974C-6C2F8E56B4D6.jpegAC3E1B5A-0AFA-455E-88D1-BE41A2E3E794.jpeg08411BED-969D-4CE6-BC04-EAB5CC29C8F5.jpeg

Rick. Yes your crystal ball failed lol. I guess I was fearing to cut the right side panel it was very tricky.

Well I’m calling this one done I will post outside completed pictures later. The main reason I built this plane was to add this vintage MPC Mechanic I colored his wrench with a graphite pencil and also gave him a final MiG wash for a grease look

That's looking good, esp with the mechanic in that position on the wing. Just shows what can be achieved with an old model Lee , well done buddy .

Lee,
you don't believe in making things easy for yourself, do you? The Revell Airacobra dates back to 1965 - I was in short trousers at junior school!
