Hi all
I was asked to paint some Roman Generals for my gaming mate a Roger. He supplied the figures and I supplied the paint and brushes......
They are pewter 28mm Warlord figures and are painted in Vallejo paint and Darkstar molten metals. Sorry the photos are poor, but I have Covid-19 so struggled to do this without coughing....

Praetorian commander....

Mark Anthony, great sculpt this one.....

And the big cheese, and for Pete, Julie...aka Julius Caesar....bases are simply painted earth brown because a Roger didn’t want them based......
Struggled a little with these, probably because of Covid.....they seemed to take an age, around four hours each. The detail made them difficult because I work in layers inside to out, and had to keep redefining the layer above....first time using a wet pallet as well....

Hi Tim
Hope you'll feel better soon.
These are great and belie the small scale.

Absolutely beautiful work Tim. I feel really inspired, but could never work at that scale.

Hope the CV is manageable, and that you're coping OK.

Thanks guys, appreciate the compliments. The CV isn’t too bad Peter, occasional cough, and feel bloody knackered all the time. No real fever or breathlessness. This morning I got up, had a shower, ate breakfast, then went back to bed until midday....then got up again and took these pictures....and they look like it ;)
I’ve got plenty of time to take better ones, can’t get them to their owner until the lock down is over.....
