Hello Train guys,

an open question to you all which train model would be the most popular one to build,

and where would I be able to get some good drawings in order to have a go at a scratch build of the most popular train ?

regards Barrie ( the old guy )

Well don't know if they make it in any scale but a superb flying Scotsman would be nice or even a detailed Stevensons "Rocket"

For me, any steamer, from the earliest spidery ones (with shoebox carriages) and later. Does it have to be a railway train? How about a beam engine?

Why not build a diesel or electric multiple unit from DC Kits instead of a wheeled kettle?

The wheeled kettle was my first scratch build of a train that why I went with the first practical train I may take a lok at the diesels in a while thanks for the tip.

If You want to make a popular model - I think You should create 3D model, then make serial casting and sell it.

How about the newly built Tornado which ran as a normal passenger train on 14/02/2017 it had a mix of old style tender and carriage joined with a modern set of the current carriages in use plenty of scope there for variation
