Which 1/35 kits to get?

Just seen this thread, missed it first time around. I'd highly recommend a Meng kit. They go together well, no flash and well thought out ejector pins whch dont require much (if any clean) up and have very clear instructions. Yes, there are a lot of parts, but I built the King Tiger when I was new to modelling (it was the third kit I built after 2 Tamiya AFV's) and I had no problems with it. In fact, the (much older) Tamiya Chieftain I built before the Tiger was much more of a problem for a newbie because of all the flash that had to be cleaned up.

I'm a big fan of Meng, you get a lot of bang for your bucks. :smiling3:

Thanks guys. I get only one or two fully priced kits per year, most are cut price on ebay auction 'already started' as I am a retiree and have to watch the cash.
