Damn Andrew,

How many gallons of paint did that cost you??? Seriously though, it must be a good feeling to get caught up and have a whole army to play with when you break out the hairy stick to do the details. You gonna be busy for along while Sir!!!...…..

Hi Allen

Not as many as you would think!!. I've just checked and I still have just over half of the 60ml bottle of primer left and it was by no means full when I started last weekends session.

And you're right it is as very good feeling indeed to get caught up but you're right the hairy stick stuff will take a while!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi all

So I managed to get some more AB time in over the past week, with a final push last night (Tuesday) to get everything to the place I wanted them to be prior to the hairy stick coming out for the details.

In total I reckon around 120 individual bits of plastic and metal received some sort of attention be it varnish, touching up, paint for the already primed or prime and then paint for the naked kits!
;)
Whilst it was a lot of fun getting some decent AB time in, I will try and make sure that the backlog is not so big next time!! I think I was pushing my luck towards the end.

Thanks Si.

By my reckoning 11 pairs of tracks and 19 individual wheels......☹️

But I only have myself to blame for holding off on the new AB for so long.

That's more kit's than I've ever built lol

Your brushes (and you) have earned a good rest after that marathon!
Andy

That may be true but you're efforts are soooo much better than mine!!!

That's a lot of work. You did remember to feed the cat and do some dishes as well didn't you ?

Colin

Thanks for stopping by

Thankfully we don't have a cat!!!!

Dishes, that's what a dishwasher is for!!!

Fortunately I didn't get so engrossed that I forgot my children that first weekend, although it was occasionally touch and go on that front!!

Thanks again.

A true labour of love. A wonderful collection and a tribute to your talents. Thanks for sharing

Steve

Thank you very much, although there is still a long way to go and plenty of opportunities to make a hash of some of them! :fearful:
