Howdy Guys.
Another project resurected after my long lay off. This time a new departure for me.An Austrian Pandour officer c1745.This sculpt is a joint project.A good friend of mine in Australia Brett did him for us and i have been adding some finishing touches to this one.I know nothing about this period but they are very colourful as the picture shows.

Stunning work Richard. He has a touch of the Charlton Heston about him. Those colours are very bright. Terrific stuff mate

Nice choice of subject. It is coming along nicely.

One observation, a small point but the illustration shows him as having longer hair. i also know nothing of the period so cannot confirm whether or not the illustration is a correct re[resentstion of male hair fashion of the time.

Hi Peter.
Thanks for dropping by.My friend Brett in Australia chose the subject and did lions share of the work.Ive just been refining our man here and there. The sculpt has got longish hair, well down to his collar.I know nothing about these bods im afraid. He wouldnt get away with scraggy hair in the British army.Fizzer time for this chap!!.
All the best at Euro and enjoy.
