Basically a woodworking adhesive that is satisfactory for 95 per cent of our constructional needs,it is important to buy one that is not too 'rubbery' otherwise it will be difficult to sand down.

Borden and Evostik Resin W are both suitable types,PVA is relatively slow drying about 1-2 hours for the initial set,and above all allows you plenty of time to re-position such things as wing sheeting before the glue finally dries.

You will need a little more patience in allowing everything to dry before carrying on with the assembly and you should organise your work programme ie working on more than one assembly at a time.

The other uses for this versatile adhesive are legend, for example when thinned with water to the consistency of milk it makes a wonderful balsa sealer which also adds considerable strength to the structure of the model.

Economical sizes are well worth investing in,the large DIY stores sell the adheasive in large tubs which can be easily de-cantered into smaller containers for easy use.
