Big thanks to tigertc and the rest of you guys who posted on the tamiya problems with the KT, swapped the connections over on the receiver and everything works on my King Tiger. Haven't touched it for almost a month since I first posted my problem but just got it working and WOW!!
My wife thinks I've turned into a big kid (she says this as she scuttles of upstairs to play with her dolls house). Full volume and loads of spare charged batteries from now on. Just wish somebody close by had one too, maybe then I,ll get the battle kit. Has anyone fitted a smoke set? (I'm on a roll now ha ha

0 Replies | 19 Views | | Micro Hydrofoil, 12 inch! Has anyone got smaller? | |

Here is my last creation, my own scratchbuilt Hydrofoil. At the begining my twelve years old son made his own RC boat on the base of a 1/72 nd Revell MTB. The kit is under 12 inch long, so it has been quite a job to make it RC. unfortunatly the boat had an accident. The boy felt very sorry about it so i tried to mend it up. First as it was ruined, I had to recreate a superstructure from scratch, then I've equiped it with a much more efficent motor, for greater speed. But when turning, the boat was kapsizeing 'hope I spell it rigth), so I had an idea, I've fitted it with Foils. New problemes appeared. For the moment I'm going threw a certain amount of inproovements. I've fitteted the boat with a small Graupner Microspeed motor wich gives great velocity for a very light weight. I've refitted a micro plane receptor and a 10 A speed controler and two Nokia phone li-on Battery. the foils are made out of heli propellers. I'll thread photos of boat flying as soon as it's finished. For the moment, here are pictures of the genuin revell Kit and my scratch
Kind regards to all of you.

Every now and again I get an email from someone who has joined yet can't workout how to post, I thought for every person that emails me there's probably several that havent and have not posted and not come back, which is a great loss, so this is a quick beginners guide to posting on the forum.
There are several ways but with out complicating things these are the easiest on the main page of the forum you will see a listing of each forum available you will also notice that there are 2 small icons near the middle of the page, one is a magnifying glass the other is like a notepad icon, if you press that on the forum you would like to post in it will go straight to the post editor box
All you need to do is put in your title. Type your message and press the Submit New Thread button, it's that easy
To reply to a post there are a couple of way of doing this.
Just above the fist post and just below the last one is a Post Reply button, that will take you in to the full screen editor the same as post new thread, or you can use the Quick Reply box, this one's even easier, type your message and submit it and finally there is the quote post button, that shows at the bottom of every persons post, it enables you to quote a post in your reply.
Hope this has helped, if not let me know and I will expand this
